Jonty & Rachel Tuesday, September 29, 2009 • Weddings
This weekend was a really fun wedding - it was an international affair - how often does an English boy find a Great Falls girl in Seattle, and get married in Missoula!
Such a fun day - and it showed how small the world is! First I met the kiwi contingent - Yay New Zealanders too!! And figured out that I knew their cousin! Then another lovely couple live almost next door to my folks in London - and finally the groom's sister had gone to college with my sister in Scotland!
Rachel and Jonty you did an amazing job of bringing together so many like minded souls who wanted to be here to celebrate with you and support you as you made your commitment to one another. The day was perfect - as was the weather! I hope you had a great time dancing it up!
Have a wonderful trip to the East Coast and hopefully see a ton of fall colors! Thank you for making this such a fun day for me - hope everyone's knees are recovered from the jumps! And remember I will travel - so maybe I can see y'all again soon!!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Neal!

Gary & Wendy Friday, September 25, 2009 • Weddings
This wedding was such a joy to photograph. Wendy and Gary came and visited me back in May (I think- time goes so darn fast right now). Wendy was so excited this is her first wedding and she had the day planned to the tee. No pun intended though we did put her out on the putting green at Shadows Keep!
With a close circle of family and friends and a Russian Orthodox ceremony conducted under the big blue skies we were blessed with Wendy and Gary celebrated their commitment to one another. I have never seen this kind of ceremony before and it is special. The rings were exchanged three times and then the crowns are a unifying part of the ceremony.
Wendy had planned an elegant but simple reception - beautiful center pieces from Bitteroot Flowers. The Keep did a wonderful job with the food, the cake from Bernices Bakery was totally delicious - Gary - Don says thanks for the take home box!!
Here is a slideshow of the day.
The immediate family that helped celebrate the day.
Wendy and Gary I hope you have had an amazing time in Hawaii. Thank you so much for including me in your special day. Wishing you every happiness for the future - see you both soon! Crackle
